Job Description/Requirements

  • Helping determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
  • Preparing weekly and monthly reports.
  • Giving sales presentations to a range of prospective clients.
  • Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs.
  • Understand and promote company programs.
  • Prepare and submit sales contracts for orders.
  • Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
  • Maintaining client records.
  • Answering client questions about credit terms, products, prices, and availability.
  • Responsible for all plant equipment and fuel handling operation.
  • Actively supports and emphasizes the importance of safety and environmental programs and ensures regulatory compliance
  • Promotes productivity and teamwork in Operations with open communication, timely decision making, and use of personal leadership skills to set high standards of performance while providing the direction necessary to achieve that performance.
  • Inspects, confirms, and receives all products purchased, for rental, repairs, or sale.
  • Monitors service performance conducts root cause analysis and gives feedback to the CEO.
  • Sets maintenance priorities and schedules maintenance for the generating sets in conjunction with the OEMs or with their manuals.
  • Ensures proper training is being provided to all Operators.
  • Ensures regulatory compliance and collects and submits evidence in support of HSE standards
  • Recognizes problems and is proactive in helping to resolve them
  • Assists in coordinating emergency response efforts (i.e. emergency rental services, repair or maintenance services, etc.)
  • Provides regular feedback to employees on their performance to allow them to capitalize on their strengths and focus on opportunities for improvement.
  • He/She gets the marketing/ operations team to use schedules so he can give weekly feedback to the CEO.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • He or She should have the capacity and tenacity to manage marketers, operators, and administrative teams.
  • Must be capable of resolving escalated issues from staff or clients.
  • Must have at least 2 years of managerial experience preferably from a power company.
  • Minimum qualification required B.sc, higher diploma or it’s equivalent.
  • Leadership ability and strong management skills.
  • Good data gathering, analysis, and presentation skills
  • Baseline problem analysis and solving skills.
  • Creativity and an ability to think out of the box
