Position: Factory Doctor
Department: EHS
Reporting to: EHS Manager
Job Location: Tongi Factory, Dhaka, Bangladesh
The position is responsible to monitor, maintain and restore employee health through the practice of medicine. Perform occupational checks, diagnostics and give the best treatment of diseases, injuries, pain, and other health related conditions. In addition, he/she will manage the medical department.
What Will You Do:
Conduct consultation and medical care, exams, raise diagnostic hypotheses, request complementary exams, interpret clinical and complementary examination data, diagnose health status of employees, discusses diagnostics, prognostics, and possible treatments.
Plan and prescribe treatment to clients, prescribe medication and provide medical certificates when needed. Prepare reports and technical reports in his/her area of medical specialties. Proper Capacity calculation and active participation for effective ASP submission for 3-year horizon.
Perform urgent / emergency care and promote health prevention training.
Ensure health and safety according to ISO/EHS, 5S3R processes and programs, identify the hazards, assess the risks, and ensure that control measures are implemented to maintain a healthy and safe workplace.
Compliance to the JTI health and safety requirements associated with the work hazards and implement requirements.
Actively demonstrate commitment to health and safety, take immediate steps to correct unsafe workplace conditions or behaviors.
Perform examinations for hirings, return to work, periodicals, change of function and dismissal of employees, paying special attention to those exposed to increased risk of occupational accidents or diseases.
Ensure health and safety according to ISO/EHS, 5S3R processes and programs, identify the hazards, assess the risks, and ensure that control measures are implemented to maintain a healthy and safe workplace.
We Expect from You:
Educational qualification in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS).
3 to 5 years of experience, preferably acting as a doctor in a multinational company.
Good communication and coordination skills. Medical related routines in companies are required.
Excellence in Bengali and English are expected. Office Applications; Proficient knowledge of database software & SAP experience will be added advantages.
