Position          : FP&A Analyst

Department    : Finance

Reporting to  : Head of FP&A

Job Location : Dhaka, Bangladesh

Role                : Permanent

WHAT THIS POSITION IS ABOUT - PURPOSE:

The incumbent will be responsible to support the team during plan cycles (ASP, LE, PMM) and provides support in system submissions (i.e. Key Assumptions load, IBP volumes, WBS creation). S/he will also be responsible for month end related activities - journal entries preparation, GR/Accrual analysis, flash report before books closure. 

WHAT WILL YOU DO - RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Perform variance analysis and highlight deviation from planned positions. Maximize involvement in actual tracking and updating actual variance files
2. Perform Month End Closing tasks timely & qualitatively. Update of local working tools and independently corrects identified wrong actual postings by raising manual reclass journals
3. Supports the FP&A Managers during plan cycles with financial planning exercises and analysis/reporting for Annual/Strategic plan (ASP), Jun/Oct Latest Estimates (LE) and Monthly Outlooks (PMM) for Bangladesh market in line with Regional / Corporate instruction/assumptions and based on local management input.
4. Proposing inputs on Plans and forecasts through analyzing Actuals and trends of spends of other functions- Add value to Planning exercise through business knowledge
5. Provides supportive data & service to other functions to facilitate budgeting process and to minimize number of manual corrections of actual postings.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR - REQUIREMENTS:

1. Minimum bachelor’s degree completion; preferably in Finance
2. Minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience from FMCG work environment
3. Sound knowledge on commercial Finance
4. Good command over MS office tools & superior analytical thinking ability
