Job Title: Intern (Programme Support)
United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to support our Programme Support team in Bangladesh. About the Role:
The intern will assist in delivering various tasks, including research, data analysis, report writing, and presentation preparation. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in programme support and contribute to the implementation of the Initiation Plan for Resilient, Sustainable, and Inclusive Development (IP-RSID) in Bangladesh. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct research and analyze data to identify key insights and opportunities
Compile research findings into comprehensive reports and present data in a clear and visually appealing manner
Plan and design webinars, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions to showcase project results
Collect information and assist in creating informative materials, such as brochures and social media content
Create engaging draft presentations for internal and external purposes
Contribute to knowledge management by preparing briefing notes, meeting documentation, talking points, and proposals to advance ongoing and upcoming initiatives
Assist with administrative tasks, such as maintaining program records, managing email communications, and scheduling meetings
Attend relevant training sessions or workshops to enhance knowledge and skills
Requirements:
Enrollment in a graduate or postgraduate-level degree programme in Economics, Statistics, Business Administration, International Relations, Development Studies, Women and Gender, Environment, Ecological Anthropology, or a related field
Outstanding academic credentials in the undergraduate level
Fluency in both English and Bangla
Good planning skills demonstrated through good time management, capacity to plan, and deliver tasks on time
Willingness to participate in all aspects of INGO programme activities
Strong computer skills, particularly of MS Word and email applications
