Background

As an Operations Advisor, you will play a key role in ensuring that our Country Office (CO) management and operations are strategic, accountable, and consistent with UNDP rules and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and advise on the strategic direction of operations, ensuring compliance with UN/UNDP rules, regulations, and policies.
Oversee the day-to-day management of the operations team, including human resources, finance, procurement, and logistics.
Ensure support to Field Offices and other clients, including UN agencies and the Resident Coordinator Office.
Manage security of UNDP personnel and assets.
Requirements
Advanced university degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, Economics, or related field.
Minimum ten years of senior-level working experience in operations, with hands-on experience in managing complex operations, programme support, and operational systems in a large country setting.
Experience of working in crisis and/or complex country situation.
Demonstrated ability in effective people management and leading large, diverse teams.
