Experience and Competencies: Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Pharmacist professional preferably having at least 2 years of demonstrated experience in pharmacy management, medical warehouse management, supervision, and monitoring of pharma activities.
Experience working with an international organization managing reproductive health programs or hospital pharmacy is preferable.

Strong monitoring and supervision capacities to identify critical bottlenecks in pharma supply activities.
Must be proficient in MS Excel and Office.
Experience using ERP systems to manage pharmaceuticals would add additional value.

Responsibilities & Context
Purpose of the Role
Under the direct supervision of the Pharmacist and overall guidance from the senior health managers, the position will be responsible for monitoring and supervision of reproductive health commodities throughout the reproductive health program. She will participate in the definition of strategies for reproductive health commodity security, demand forecast, donation processing, distribution, and use of reproductive health commodities in the programs in line with the health departmentâs recommendations and operating procedures whilst ensuring donor and national regulations are followed.
Highlights of Key Responsibilities
Reproductive health commodity management:
Collect, aggregate, and compile consumption reports from the reproductive health centers. Ensure appropriate demand forecasts are placed quarterly to the supervisor.
Draw up the first draft of orders with the supervisor and other partners aligning with the organizational and donor parameters such as consumption report analysis and stock analysis at both the central warehouse and facility level.
Monitor the maximum and minimum inventory and stock availability at the reproductive health centers and flag potential understock, and overstock to the supervisor and senior health managers.
Monitor the expiry date of the reproductive health commodities and take proactive action to minimize the risk of expiry which may lead to financial loss for the organization and donor.
Participates in implementing pharmaceutical supply chain standard operating procedures at reproductive health centers.
Facility supervision and monitoring:
Conduct routine field visits to the reproductive health centers and perform a systemic check of the personnel, process, and infrastructure of the centers for reproductive health commodity suitability. Provide documented critical observations and recommendations for further scope of improvement.
Perform systematic checks of all documents to ensure the appropriate traceability of the product including but not limited to verifying the transition of commodities from the central warehouse to the facility and the facility to the clients.
Systemic check of prescription to ensure that all treatments are aligned with the rational use of drug principle.
