Position: Sr. Software Development Engineer (Full Stack, AI)

Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities
• Knowledge of cloud and a curiosity to adopt the latest AI/Machine Learning models and APIs
• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend solutions using Node.js, Express.js, Nest.js, and MongoDB
• Ability to design and construct complex yet maintainable systems.
• Prioritizes practical, workable solutions, working iteratively while obsessing over your customer.
• Manage all aspects of software development independently leveraging latest AI Co-pilots or agents
• Expertise can be in any full stack technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• Conduct unit testing, functional testing, and participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Create and maintain comprehensive API documentation for internal and external use.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in backend development.

Job Requirements
• B.Sc./M.Sc. in Computer Science or any related field.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Express.js and Nest.js frameworks.
• Experience working with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
• Successfully building and launching 0 to 1 products in Nigeria.
• excellent problem-solving skills and thrive with minimal supervision.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable and performant backend solutions.
• Proficient in unit testing and functional testing methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
